This is Mrs. Vollmar’s 2nd year as a Paraprofessional. Prior to this, she worked the past 20 years for the US Postal Service. Their restructuring allowed her to follow her heart and work with children having unique needs. She received all of her K-12 education at Otsego. Her four children are: Andrew, (coach for the Varsity Boys Golf team), Ryleigh (Sophomore) and twins, Kale (8th) and Owen (7th). ** Yes, these are the twins she delivered and then left at the hospital 9 hours later to walk her oldest across the football field for Senior parent’s night in 2002. She is a trained handler for her son’s certified Therapy Dog. An interesting fact about Lissa: She wore the original Otsego Knight mascot uniform to several football games during her Senior year and, yes, it was REAL armor and not anywhere near as comfortable as the one our school has today.
